1982

Publication of the monograph Arvid Møller & Frans Widerberg 100 Bilder (Paintings) with an essay by Stein Mehren. Published by J M Stenersen Forlag, Oslo.

 

 

1984

Publication of Sigmund Mjelve Dikt / Frans Widerberg Akvareller (Poems and Watercolours), published by Collage Press.

Produces a folio of 10 lithographs to accompany Stein Mehren’s handwritten poems.

Participates in the international group exhibition ROSC ’84 at the Guinness Hop Store, Dublin, from 24 August – 17 November. Exhibitions in Oslo and Stockholm.

 

1985

After twenty years living at Ekely, the Widerberg family move to central Oslo. Publication of a limited edition portfolio of 15 colour lithographs and 15 vignettes in a new hand-set edition of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt, published by Peter Bramsen, Paris. The association with Bramson ends in a lengthy court case when the publisher is accused of printing more portfolios than the agreed limited edition.
